All of us in the Maddox household are really happy that spring is here! We had our first official cookout party yesterday. We kept the menu simple… burgers, dogs, veggie tray, chips… but it sure did taste good. Aside from a little rain after the sun went down it was great to hang out in the yard. Hope you’re enjoying the outdoors too!

Now that the weather is a little warmer, Allie (my 4 year old) is convinced we should put up our new playset right away. A couple months ago we got a good deal on the one we wanted. Which was great… but Allie has seen it sitting in the garage since then. So every few days (now it’s practically every day) she asks when we can put up “me playset” (kids talk funny don’t they)! She’s going to be at granny’s house the next few days so hopefully we can put it up while she’s gone. Allie will be so happy!

Prez Clinton & Blue Dresses

You know, I was going to go see Bill yesterday, but it didn’t work out. Glad it didn’t because I don’t know if I could have waited an hour to see the former President! The blue dresses come in to play because our ever-on-top-of-things News Director Brittany Gray wore one to see Clinton!!! She didn’t mean to wear such Monica-esque attire. I’m sure if she had realized that she was wearing the same shade of blue as the ever-famous dress… she would have changed right away.  But she didn’t notice it, so there she was, covering the President… playing the part of the Devil With A Blue Dress! Wonder if Willy noticed?
